We have a vision to produce young players every season that will develop to become world-class players.

Football is our avenue to get the youths off the streets as well as using the medium to share our Cancer awareness message to the local people.

Our league avails ages 15-17+ male/female kids the opportunity to learn the skills of football and perhaps become professionals. “It has always been my vision to furnish the youths in Africa with opportunities, to enable them to achieve their dreams, and attain a sounder life.” Ronnie Jacobs

The Dream

Our dream is to have youth football leagues across Africa to help unite communities, increase cancer awareness, improve self capasity and ehance community develoment.

The Structure

The league incorporates 18 youth teams that compete across 36 games annually. We welcome local and international club associations, sponsors and agents. We recognise that young people are the future in football and Africa has an abundance of young potentials.

The Task

We understand that this is a huge task, hence we are the first to dare to execute this in Nigeria. We believe that with our local knowledge and talented staffs, we will make a difference together and showcase talented young players at the end of each season.

About Us

LAC Youth Football league is composed of a network of leading football coaches and football professionals. With over 18 coaches and a technical director with extensive experience and skills, we are positioned to help develop the youths as well as develop talented players.

LAC’s dream is to maintain a youth league that will become a model for other countries in Africa. We have built our foundation on character, transparency and integrity.

Lift Above Cancer (LAC) is a registered NGO in Nigeria and we have been offering free medical services and support since 2016 in Edo state. Our youth football league aims to express itself via excellence and top-class conduct, in both the male and female games. We are fully committed to promoting a vibrant local engaging league that also protects our cultural values, in addition helps to raise cancer awareness.
